Scope
The Custom Report message can be initiated by any party and received by any party (acquirer, agent, issuer or other party) connected to a network. This message provides the capability to convey customized reports that are defined by bi-lateral agreement.Outline
The CustomReportV03 MessageDefinition is composed of 15 MessageBuildingBlocks:
- Header — Information related to protocol management.
- Originator — Identifies the originator of the transaction.
- Sender — Party sending the message to another intermediary agent or to the final destination.
- Receiver — Party receiving the message from the origin or from an intermediary agent.
- Destination — Identifies the destination of the transaction.
- Programme — Programme, network, or brand processes the transaction.
- Jurisdiction — Contains information that identifies or is specific to a transaction jurisdiction.
- Settlement Service — Type of settlement service for specific services requiring settlement.
- Reconciliation — Identification of the reconciliation period between the acquirer and the issuer or their respective agents.
- Correction — Identifies that is a corrected version of a report that was previously sent.
- Report — Specifies the attributes of a report and its content.
- Report Content — Contains the content of a report.
- Private Data — Reserved for private data. The use of this data element is determined by bilateral agreement.
- National Data — Reserved to define data unique to the country applications.
- Security Trailer — Trailer of the message containing a MAC
