The AddendumInitiationV04 MessageDefinition is composed of 25 MessageBuildingBlocks:

• Header — Information related to the management of the protocol.
• Data Source — Indicates the source of enhanced data.
• Transaction Description — Transaction data related to programmes and services, content and format based on bilateral agreements.
• Originator — Information related to the originator.
• Acquirer — Information related to the acquirer.
• Sender — Information related to the sender.
• Card — Card or payment token performing the transaction.
• Receiver — Information related to the receiver.
• Issuer — Information related to the issuer.
• Destination — Information related to the destination.
• Programme — Programme, network, or brand actually applied to the transaction.
• Transaction Identification — Identification of the transaction.
• Token — Details of payment token.
• Original Data Elements — Data elements contained in the original transaction
• Acceptor — Card acceptor performing the card transaction.
• Customer — Information about the customer.
• Jurisdiction — Contains information that identifies or is specific to a transaction jurisdiction.
• Settlement Service — Type of settlement service for specific services requiring settlement.
• Additional Fee — Fees not included in the transaction amount.
• Reconciliation — Identification of the reconciliation period between the acquirer and the issuer or their respective agents.
• Transaction Specific Data — Component contains data structures applicable to certain industries that require specific data within transaction messages.
• Protected Data — Contains protected data and the attributes used to protect the data.
• Private Data — Reserved for private data. The use of this data element is determined by bilateral agreement.
• National Data — Reserved to define data unique to the country applications.
