Scope

The RemittanceLocationAdvice message allows the originator of the message to identify where the remittance advice is located for a related payment.

Outline

The RemittanceLocationAdviceV03 MessageDefinition is composed of 3 MessageBuildingBlocks:

  • Group Header — Set of characteristics shared by all remittance location information included in the message.
  • Remittance Location — Provides information related to location and/or delivery of the remittance information. This information is used to enable the matching of an entry with the items that the associated payment is intended to settle.
  • Supplementary Data — Additional information that cannot be captured in the structured elements and/or any other specific block.
